Display/Screen review

OPPO's 6.7-inch WQHD+ AMOLED panel boasts an impressive selection of features, such as its adaptable refresh rate that scales down from 120Hz to conserve battery power. Plus, it supports HDR10+ playback and produces vivid, punchy colours.

Screen's curved edges may cause distortion on white and lighter background images, though this does not significantly degrade performance or quality. Furthermore, it offers various colors from 'Vivid' to 'Natural'; the latter produces a more accurate representation of real life.

What about the camera system of the Find X5?

The Oppo Find X5's triple rear camera is an impressive performer, boasting impressive night mode and stabilisation features for great photos. In our tests, it took top marks when shooting photos in low light environments while also offering a wide dynamic range - ideal for general photography needs.

Not great for games

The sound quality on the Oppo Find X5 Pro is somewhat disappointing, especially when compared to other phones in its class. It's not bad, but neither great either - it can't quite match up to OnePlus 10 Pro or iPhone 14 Pro in terms of clarity or depth, but then it does cost about a third of the price of the latter.

The Find X5 may not offer the fastest frame rates of its rivals either, but it still performs well enough in demanding games to please most gamers. Thanks to the new chip's improvements, this top-tier smartphone is now competitive with other top-tier smartphones when playing at higher-detail levels.
