Best Galaxy A41 Refurbished Deals – How To Buy
If you are looking for a budget smartphone that still has plenty of features, then look no further than the Samsung Galaxy A41. Considering the price difference between the A41 and some of Samsung’s more recent flagship models, there is a lot to like about it. The 6.1-inch Super AMOLED screen is all you can see on the front of the device since there is virtually no bezel around it. Despite its impressive size given the price point, it is actually one of the smallest and most lightweight smartphones available at the moment. It is only 150mm long and weighs a paltry 150g. So, it’ll fit easily into any pocket – you just have to be mindful of losing it! It’s also quite thin, which we think is a very desirable feature on a smartphone these days. At just under 8mm thick, it’s barely thick enough to house the 3.5mm jack, USB-C port and speakers at the bottom. Any thinner and these would have all been compromised so it’s the perfect thickness really.
Samsung Galaxy A41 Camera Setup
As to be expected from any phone in the Samsung Galaxy range, the Galaxy A41 has three cameras on the back. While not being the most cutting-edge cameras in terms of photography technology, they still pack a punch. The cameras consist of a 5MP depth sensor, a 48MP main camera and an impressive 8MP ultrawide camera. There is also a 25MP selfie camera on the front of the device, within a tiny droplet-shaped notch. The hardware is robust enough to take on most tasks with ease, featuring the Samsung One 2.1 user interface and Android 10 as standard.
Probably the best thing about the A41 though is the price. At just £180 it is a steal given the amount that you get for your money. In fact, the Samsung Galaxy A41 is probably the cheapest smartphone out there that has a Super AMOLED screen – and a sharp one at that.
The only thing this phone does lack, which may be a deal-breaker for a few people – is a water-repellent coating on the internal hardware. For most people this shouldn’t be an issue, but it is something that even the cheapest Chinese smartphones feature now, so it’s a bit of a shame that Samsung didn’t get the memo.
Galaxy A41 Design
In terms of the actual design of the phone, it is more than sufficient given its target audience. There are no premium metals here, the back case is made of plastic. By keeping the material costs cheap, Samsung have been able to create a good cheap smartphone without compromising on more important features. The back itself is nothing too special to look at, but it is quite interesting considering it is only made form plastic.
In terms of premium features, the A41 has quite a few. Within the screen is an optical fingerprint scanner, which is not something you would usually find on a smartphone this cheap. It works well but is not as fast and robust as the ones that can be found on the devices that cost five times as much as this one. The Galaxy A41 also features face unlock, which can be used alongside the fingerprint scanner to speed up the unlocking process.
Overall, if you are used to your flagship phones then there is nothing much of note about the Samsung Galaxy A41. However, the technology featured was considered state-of-the art around 18 months ago so you probably won’t be disappointed given the price. If you are looking for a good all-round smartphone at a reasonable price that looks and feels good to hold then you would struggle to find anything better from a reputable manufacturer like Samsung.
